During hard times the government hands out a bit of cash, new government programs are created which require more government employees which eventually require higher taxes to pay for those new positions when the economy improves.  When the next recession hits, the entire cycle starts over again and the government grows even bigger.

I don’t know, but I know there are several.  Are those who have, let’s say, Canadian/USA dual citizenship ever accused of having too much influence on US foreign policy?  Of favoring Canada?  Where is the list of those people?  In other words, it’s no accident that a particular group is singled out (because of underlying mistrust based on anti-Semitic stereotypes).
